I've had a few conversations about the movie The Sandlot over the past two weeks. It surprises me that some people have never seen this movie, though I've come to understand it's a generational thing. You can see the climax of the movie below. Unfortunately, this clip doesn't show Benny putting on his PF Flyers right before hopping the fence to pickle The Beast. The fact that I was 10 years old when this movie was released and loved baseball growing up may explain my lifelong fascination with PF Flyers. By the way, PF Flyers are back in fashion.
