Vampire Weekend has successfully avoided the sophomore slump. Contra is a great album, full of feather-light percussion, sunny melodies, and progressive ideas. It may be January but these 10 tracks are best suited in the warm reds and yellows of summer. My favorite track from the album changes with every listen. Check it out.
