I think I enjoy hip hop more in the summer than any other time of year - when the sun is setting, the heat of the day has passed, and I'm driving across town with the windows down. A few summers ago it was Kid Cudi for me. This summer, though he may not get radio play, Mississippi M.C. Big K.R.I.T. might be an evening regular in my speakers.
