Four years ago (four years! has it been that long already?) as I spent the summer working on the shores of Table Rock Lake, I purchased Sufjan's Illinois (yep, I got it the day it was released so mine came with Superman on the cover). I am still waiting, we're all still waiting, for the follow-up to that album. Well this may not be the official follow up, but it's something. And something is better than nothing. On October 20, Sufjan drops The BQE, a purchase-able format of his 2007 multimedia performance inspired by the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway (hence the name The BQE). Read more about it here and here.
